Job Summary: 

Responsible for supervising the financial analysis and accounting/budget functions to include developing internal billing rate schedules, developing/monitoring departmental budgets, and preparing financial reports. This position will report to the IT-IMS Business Office, so candidates with a background or understanding of IT functions would be preferred.

 

Job Duties:

  • Develops and monitors the consolidated annual budget plan and budget process for the division.
  • Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinates, negotiates, and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation.
  • Conducts and may lead audits.
  • Supervises employees performing financial and/or accounting duties and may supervise employees in other functional areas.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Education: 

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field is required.

     

    Experience:

    Five (5) years financial analysis experience, including a thorough knowledge of applicable government regulations is required.

    Preferred Experience:

    Experience in cost allocation.

    Familiarity working with IT teams/departments.

    Ability to lead a small team of financial specialists

    Work Location:

    Hybrid (Primarily Remote) – Local candidates incase occasional onsite visits are required.
