| Job Description | The Institute for Educational Initiatives is looking for a Summer Worker to assist with its many programs and events over the summer. The Summer Worker will assist in preparing events, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and overall Institute Operations. We are looking for someone who is available to work consistent hours throughout the summer. Work will typically be Monday-Friday with some possible evening and weekend hours up to 40 hours per week. Due to the hectic nature of the summer, we are looking for someone who can commit to working a consistent schedule all summer, especially in the month of July. Duties will include stocking food and drinks in conference rooms and other meeting spaces, moving furniture to prepare meeting spaces for various events, sorting and delivering mail, preparing documents and name badges for conferences/meetings, running errands across campus, and other tasks as assigned by the Operations Associate. The ideal candidate will be a college student who is home for the summer and able to work independently This is a temporary, seasonal position – summer 2024. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and be able to lift at least 30 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. |
