Summer Transitional Programs Instructor

Required Qualifications & Experience :  Baccalaureate degree in an appropriate field of study (Social Sciences, Natural Science, or Education). Strong background in the field they will be teaching; demonstrate clear and verbal communication skills. As an Instructor to EOP's Summer/Transfer Bridge, Summer Workshop and Community Learning courses for EOP students; may include teaching the following courses: Writing, Reading, SB seminar, Math, Kinesiology, Library Science, PAS, and/or Communication Studies to BOP students. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current California State University employees who may apply for the position.
