Summer Student

Position Description:

Purpose

To carry out, under supervision, software development for advanced data extract, transform, and load routines.  This position is a limited term summer assignment.

Primary Functions

• Work with the Director of the Data Science Institute to transport at least three Referent Tracking software repositories currently written in Java to Python
• Develop new functionality for referent tracking based extract transform and load software
• Develop a new schema for writing general instruction sets for data transformations into referent tracking
• Participate in meetings with principal investigator and postdoctoral fellow

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

Knowledge of computer science, Java, and Python. Semantic Web, graph databases, and Neo4J desired.
