Summer employment opportunities are temporary, full-time, starting on/around the first week of June through August 31, 2024. We recognize that summer hires may have school or other commitments that require them to end their assignments early. Available schedules for the College's summer dining worker positions are as follows:

  • Dining Services
    • Dining Workers (5 positions available) Full-time (40 hours/week), choice of two shifts: (1) 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or (2) 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm; weekends are required. Working in collaboration with experienced staff, summer dining workers support a wide range of service operations that include preparing and/or serving food/beverages in the Dining Hall. Specific responsibilities may include: chopping, slicing, dicing, of recipe ingredients, preparation of baked goods, assist in serving during the meal service, general cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, cleaning/sweeping/mopping and general utility tasks, assisting in the dishroom, cash handling, waitstaff during catering events. Customer service is a critical component of this work as is attendance, punctuality, and food safety. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs. $16.45/hour.
