Job Description Summary

Assist with camps and conferences that are taking place at the university.


Job Description


DUTIES AND TASKS:  


University, conference, and athletic camps work: Including but not limited to; acting as a liaison between the camp coordinator and University entities, setting up tables and chairs, laying out and picking up tarps, lining athletic field, assigning rooms in residence halls, distributing and collecting keys, conducting room inspections for room & damage reports, for overnight camps, setting up media equipment, collecting trash from fields and facilities, supervising meal activities in the dining hall. 


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:  


 


Qualifications:  


  • Must be 16 years of age 

  • Saint Leo students living on campus for the summer preferred  


 


Knowledge:  


  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid Certificate preferred  


 


Skills:  


  • Dependable, ability to prioritize and organize, multi-task, creative thinker, outgoing, reliable, punctual, willingness and ability to take charge 

  • Work well with others in individual and group setting 

  • Previous knowledge, training, or experience is preferred but not required 


Abilities:  


  • Some lifting of objects up to 50lbs 

  • Exposure to sun and heat for long periods of time in some positions 

  • Ability to balance many tasks and responsibilities simultaneously 

  • Ability to manage time and stress for self and others
