Summer Camp Assistant, Fast Start Academy (Temporary) - EDU

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. 

Provides elementary age (Grades 1 & 2)  instruction in the Fast Start Academy. Fast Start Academy takes place on Bagwell College of Education during the month of June. Training will take place during the last two weeks of May. 

This position is considered limited-term staff since it utilizes contingent funding. Continued employment is contingent upon availability of grant funding for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan literacy instruction for elementary age students
2. Collaborate with other tutors to prepare lesson plans 
3. Teach elementary age students

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
Experience working with elementary age children

ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
