Position Summary/Description:


This position will serve as a Social/Clinical Research Specialist within the SOM, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The Soc/Clinical Research Specialist is responsible for the planning, organization, and conduct of multiple clinical research study protocols, including independently collecting and recording data, project administration, and communication with various stakeholders. This position will be expected to follow GCP and IRB guidelines for each study. This position will ensure that all study goals and deadlines are met per sponsor or primary investigator. The position will have the primary responsibility for carrying out study related procedures accurately, for monitoring the safety and well-being of study participants, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, participate in day-to-day operations related to the collection, compilation, and documentation of clinical research data, IRB submissions and upkeep of regulatory files. The Social/Clinical Research Specialist will be responsible for leading studies and will also provide backup assistance to other fellow research staff.

Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
