Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is accepting applications for an organic Chemistry Stockroom Assistant in the Department of Chemistry. This student worker position will be responsible for chemical solution preparation, aiding chemistry students with laboratory needs, inventory and stocking of stockroom, dispense lab chemicals/supplies, hazardous materials handling, and helping with lab turn-around / clean-ups between sections. This position will require laboratory safety training if offer is made.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be a student of the University of Nevada, Reno

Must have completed CHEM 121 or 201

Preferred Qualifications

Work Study applicants are encouraged to apply

Completion of CHEM 220 or CHEM 341 preferred
