Position Purpose
Mo’s Activities Council
Mo’s Activities Council is the University of Central Missouri’s student programming board, providing a large array of activities intended to educate, engage, and entertain the campus community.
Supervision
This student position will be advised by the Assistant Director of Student Activities that oversees Leadership & Development and the Graduate Assistant for Mo’s Activities Council.
Job Responsibilities
Students serving as Program Coordinators will research, plan and implement programs on behalf of Mo’s Activities Council. They will encourage engagement with the organization across the involvement spectrum – from attending events, to joining the MAC General Body, to volunteering at events.
Students will gain experience in event management, promotions, volunteer management and leadership.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Implementing programs throughout the year, handling promotional efforts, event planning, and management.
  • Coordinating and facilitating all General Body Meetings.
  • Supervising all event volunteers.
  • Attending weekly one-on-one meetings, coordinator team meetings, and General Body Meetings.
  • Maintain records and organizational plans utilized for programming activities
  • Design and utilize assessment tools for assessing programming
  • Support large-scale Office of Student Activities programs such as Family Weekend and Homecoming
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Job Requirements

    To be considered as a MAC Program Coordinator, applicants must be students in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Please note, Coordinators are expected to serve the full 2024-25 academic year.
    Salary

    MAC Program Coordinators will work 15-20 hours per week, including some nights and weekends, and will earn $13.50/hour.
