Job Description

Skills:    

• Must be a student of Great Basin College

• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA

• Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services

• Applicant must not be applying to any of the health sciences programs

• Adequate typing skills to perform specific duties without detailed supervision

• Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Previous job-related experience desired

Duties: 

• Typing, filing, shredding, copying and scanning

• Organizing and restocking department materials and supplies

• Answer phones and direct callers to appropriate resource

• Greet and direct individuals who enter department

• Schedule advising sessions with faculty

• Other manual tasks involving light physical efforts.          

Salary:

$13.00 per hour

Hours:

Up to 19 hours per week
