Job Summary/Basic Functions

EKU Manchester is seeking federal work study (FWS) eligible students for the position of Student Worker Associate. Employee would be responsible for assisting in the creation of a welcoming, positive, and impactful visit at EKU Manchester. The position demands reliability, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for public engagement.
Duties/Characteristics include:
• Ensures visitors/students check in upon arrival
• Executes daily task lists for the office including answering phones, making copies, research, special projects, and other assignments as needed
• Assists with student events including preparation, engagement, and clean-up
• Utilizes exceptional interpersonal skills
• Makes use of advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Has ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Encompasses ability to solve problems as they arise
• Pays close attention to detail
• Maintains confidentiality

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrolled at EKU
• Good academic standing

 

Job Duties:

• 80% - Executes daily task lists for the office including answering phones, making copies, research, special projects, and other assignments as needed - (Essential)
• 10% - Ensures visitors/students check in upon arrival - (Essential)
• 10% - Assists with student events including preparation, engagement, and clean-up - (Essential)
