A student academic tutor will be asked and expected to tutor student-athletes in various courses. All tutoring will take place in the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics and will range based on student-athlete need and tutor availability. Tutoring sessions will include 1-3 student-athletes and are expected to last 45 minutes.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring 2024 Semester as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2024 ONE class schedule
- Must have earned a B or higher in the specific course or have been award a degree in that area
Skills:
Must be capable of tutoring the courses specified
Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate course material while engaging with our student-athletes in a positive manner
Must be willing and able to communicate and build relationships with a diverse group of students
Must be willing and able to gain and maintain working knowledge of university, Big 12, and NCAA rules and regulations
Must be willing and able to adhere to standards of conduct for Athletics Academics Tutorial Staff
Department Preferences:
- Experience working as a tutor for undergraduate or graduate students
- Experience working with a diverse group of students
- Working knowledge of university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate verbally, hear, and see including color, depth perception and clarity
