Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm


Job Summary: The Student Success Program Manager oversees and plans the development, implementation, and delivery of targeted student group engagement and programming activities in a college, department, or division.


Additional Department Summary: Oversees the Two-Touch Plus (2T+) Program. Supervises a summer staff assistant and fifteen student-workers. The summer aspect of the program will serve approximately 40 high school juniors and seniors over a total of 3 weeks in a residential, pre-college experience. Provides on-going support, counseling, and guidance to facilitate retention and success for students who eventually enroll in Culverhouse. Engages with internal and external stakeholders to increase the visibility and reputation of the College, to aid in recruiting, retention, and student success initiatives. Advise and support student organizations.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student success experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of academic advising or student success experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Strong written and verbal communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think and plan strategically. Ability to gain acceptance by all age groups of people in the corporate, alumni, and College/University communities. Ability to initiate, manage implementation, and coordinate new projects and programs. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across a complex organization. High energy level.
