Student Success Coach, Student Enrichment Center

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The Student Enrichment Center at Cameron University seeks a full-time Student Success Coach. This is a grant-funded position. Funding is guaranteed through August 2025. Continuation of this position is contingent upon administrative discretion after the life of the grant.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working individually with assigned at-risk students.
  • Refer at-risk students to the appropriate personnel for additional support.
  • Follow-up with at-risk students to determine if students are having additional difficulties.
  • Liaison with the at-risk student's academic advisor to ensure consistent support.
  • Participating in monthly meetings with other Title III personnel.
  • Participating in data collection activities as appropriate.

Position reports to the Coordinator of Student Success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree. University or college level advisement experience. Demonstrated commitment to student success. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Knowledge of computer technology and software applications. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree. Two or more years’ experience working with college students in academic coaching and advising to students. Previous experience working with diverse student populations. Previous experience working with teams devoted to student success.

SALARY$34,000
