As our Student Services Technologies Specialist, you will act as an ambassador of UAF, and provide advising and tech support to university students in the Bering Strait region.

To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and strong skills in organization, technology, and advising.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of an Associate degree program and one year of experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience that includes online support and technologies.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Northwest campus in Nome, AK. This is a full-time, term-funded, 11-month, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 77, based on education and experience.
