POSITION PURPOSE
The UW Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy and Governance has an outstanding opportunity for a Student Services Manager to join the Student Affairs team at the Evans School, which serves nearly 500 students, across the MPA (Master of Public Administration), EMPA (Executive Masters in Public Administration) and PhD programs as well as our minor, micro credential, and certificate programs.  The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the recruitment, enrollment, and academic & career advising of all students connected to the Evans School through these programs.

The Student Services Manager will report to the Director of Student Affairs and provide academic program support and advising to current Evans School students, as well as work in collaboration with the admissions team to support the recruitment of potential students based on deep knowledge of the student experience. The position will work in conjunction with the Learning Program Manager and the Teaching and Learning Team to deliver a high-quality curricular and student experience for program participants.

The position requires a wide range of core competencies, including student advising, program and project management, stakeholder engagement, ability to effectively interact with a broad community, with excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate must develop strong knowledge of academic program requirements for Evans School programs. This position must also deal with confidential student information and problem-solve on general student issues, which often require a high degree of discretion and excellent judgement.
