Job Summary
ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Athletic Equipment Department is responsible for acquiring and maintaining all sporting equipment and apparel for 18 varsity sports and cheerleading. The athletic equipment staff provides exemplary customer service to student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily laundry collection & distribution
- Operate commercial laundry machines
- Assist with receiving and checking in packages
- Provide excellent customer service to our athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Assist with apparel and equipment sizing and distributing Varsity letter awards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a current Purdue student
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time Management
- Attention to detail
- Ability to perform manual labor which may include lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and walking Maintain professionalism as a representative of Purdue Athletics
- Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and other athletic department staff
- Must be able to work independently and also as a group
- Must be able to take initiative
