Job Summary
Major/Year: Student of any accredited learning institution required, Purdue Undergraduates preferred.
Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week, classes permitting, during normal business hours. Ability to work during summer semester desired, but not required.

Job Description and Experience
Description
A student in this position will work alongside Research Solutions Engineers assisting with hardware and software installations, OS configurations, and other necessary tasks on RCAC's resources . Occasional programming/scripting projects (Perl, Python, shell) will be available. The ability to quickly learn new technologies, good written/verbal communication skills is essential. An interest in high performance computing (HPC) and self-motivation is a plus.
Experience
Experience using Linux/Unix systems in a command-line environment.
Familiarity or interest in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible.
Familiarity using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby or similar.
