| Position Summary | Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Career and Self Development: This student worker position provides an opportunity for a student to participate in a real-world project focused on the creation of biomaterials made from fungi. Technology: This position provides an opportunity to understand the application of fungal-based biomaterials in industry. This position will assist faculty in the Biology Department and the Biomedical Engineering Department with various duties involved in the production of fungal materials and mushrooms. These duties include prototype development, data collection/analysis, and paper writing. This position will be approximately 10-20hrs per week. |
| Required Qualifications | Junior/Senior/Master STEM majors preferred. |
| Preferred Qualifications | STEM students are encouraged to apply. |
| Physical Demands | Able to lift 50 pounds and sit and stand for periods of time. |
