Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary
The Atamian lab at Chapman University has a paid research position. We will use ECOSTRESS data to identify the water use efficiency of different crop plants under different climate change scenarios.
Responsibilities
The student will work with faculty to gather appropriate remote sensing data. This will be from publicly available data sets and the student will organize and extract the data. The student will participate in statistical analysis that will be conducted along with geospatial analysis using Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Required Qualifications
• Familiarity with ECOSTRESS data.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of our group with direction from faculty
• Background in programming (Preferred but not required)
