Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary	Provide general research support.
Responsibilities	Conduct literature review. Work with the research team to improve the design of the hardware and software components of the braille display. This may involve coding, testing, and troubleshooting the software components, and assembling and testing the hardware components. Assist in the testing and evaluation of the braille display by conducting user testing and providing feedback for improvements. Document the research process, including the design, development, testing, and evaluation phases. This may involve creating reports, presentation, or other forms of documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications	Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn departmental processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications	Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated interest in assistive technology, accessibility, or human-computer interaction.
