WOSU is hiring Production Assistants:

This role supports the producers of the WOSU radio program, All Sides. Responsibilities include writing scripts, researching guests for shows, pitching show ideas, booking guests, preparing briefing materials for the host, attending weekly editorial meetings, scheduling shows and confirming guests, writing program descriptions, screening listener calls for on air, and other duties as assigned.

Training is provided for technical duties that include editing audio, and building posts on the website.

Additional Information:

Qualifications: Interest in current events, public affairs, journalism and writing.

Requirements: Punctuality, accuracy, attention to detail, self-starter, ability to take direction.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am to 1pm and 1 to 5pm shifts available

Starting Pay Rate: $13 per hour
