Position Announcement


Utah Valley University is seeking a student to assist the WSB Finance department.


Summary of Responsibilities


The purpose of the PFPSA is to enable students to make the most of their experience at UVU in the Personal Financial Planning program through career development, engaged learning, and cultivating relationships with peers, faculty, staff, and industry professionals.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a current UVU student in the PFP program.
  • Current coach in the MMRC.


Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

  • Shall be the chief presiding officer and provide leadership and guidance to the organization.
  • Shall plan the agenda for all meetings.
  • Shall, with the assistance of the Advisor, approve all final decisions regarding all PFPSA traditions, programs, and events, and official budgets and expenses.
  • Shall act as the official spokesperson of the group, and serve as a liaison between PFPSA and UVU.
  • Shall attend various on-campus leadership groups and report back with information pertinent to PFPSA.
  • Shall organize the academic year budget and keep detailed records of expenses.
  • Shall work with VP and Marketing Officer as well as Faculty, Staff Advisor and event planning department to organize, plan and carry out spring banquet, monthly events, week of PFP, networking, opening and closing socials.
  • Shall represent UVU PFP at but not limited to:

             ? PFPSA Events
             ? Conferences
             ? UVU Events
             ? Visiting Professionals
  • Shall be an advisor, mentor, and/or tutor to students, and link between Professionals and PFP student body.
  • Shall be present at each PFPSA event and assist with marketing, recruiting, and student engagement.
