Office Assistants (OAs) provide the Student Learning Center's front desk reception and student services duties in Lissa and Cy Wagner Hall, the Cross Learning Center (Cross Village A), and various locations across campus. Duties include client check-in/out, making appointments for UC Action Tutoring, checking resources in/out, answering UC Action program questions, phone duties, session management, keeping our spaces clean and organized, and equipment setup/storage.
OAs provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere for our centers, spaces and online sessions, and play an integral role in our data collection process, tracking every student visit, and performing data entry and corrections in iAdvise.
Must be able to serve as an OA for the Spring 2024 semester and attend the following required trainings:
- New OA Training: first week of Spring classes, time to be determined based on staff availability
- SLC Training Conference: 8:00am-1:00pm, Saturday, January 20, 2024
- Monthly OA Meetings: time to be determined based on staff availability

Job Requirements
---
Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2024 class schedule
- Must have completed at least 12 undergraduate hours as an OU Norman Campus student
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.50
