The Honors College Deans Office is currently hiring a Student Office Assistant beginning in the Summer or Fall 2024 semester. This position will provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere while performing front desk assistance, answering multi-line phone, answering questions, data entry, preparing mailings, and other duties as assigned. Student Office Assistants may also assist with Honors College events and programming.

**Applicant must be an undergraduate and an Honors Student.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a full-time student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma and accepted as an Honors Student. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. 

  • Must attach your Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2024 class schedule.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 must be maintained during employment.

Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Applicants must be team oriented, accountable, and able to work independently.

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Frequent talking.
  • Ability to engage in repetitive motion.
  • Standard office environment.
