Position Description:

Serve as newsroom assistant producer/ reporter for 89-7 NPR News and wosu.org.  Assist WOSU producers in gathering information, conducting interviews, writing broadcast stories, newscasts and stories for the web.  Produce high-quality, accurate and balanced radio reports for 89.7 by researching topics important to WOSU listeners and web-users, conducting interviews, writing scripts and editing audio.  Produce news content for wosu.org and assist with social media outreach. 

Qualifications:

Strong interest in journalism or related communications career.  Major in journalism, communication or related field preferred. Demonstrated writing ability. Demonstrated knowledge of current events.  Proficiency with standard office software and hardware.


Additional Information:

Pay rate is $13.00 per hour
