Job Summary
Will assist in providing desktop support to the Provost Office IT supported department.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Assisting with access to the data network, wireless network, accounts, email, software, printing services, telephone systems, and web applications.
  • Assisting with Duo 2Factor registration, reactivation, and removal.
  • Setting up new computers, smartphones, tablets, and printers/scanner then installing necessary 3rd party software and configuring those applications for use.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving problems with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems.
  • Troubleshooting peripherals attached to a computer such as a docking station, USB printer/scanner, and other devices.
  • Will work directly with the current Sr. Endpoint Support Analyst to also provide OS, firmware, driver, and BIOS updates.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Enrolled as an undergraduate student at Auburn University in good academic standing during entire employment period.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be motivated, diligent, willing to learn, and hard-working.

Summer (May 6 – August 16)
  • Monday: 12:45-4:45 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:45-11:45 AM
  • Wednesday: 12:45-4:45 PM
  • Thursday: 7:45-11:45 AM
  • Friday: 12:45-4:45 PM

Fall (August 19 – December 13)
  • Monday: 1:00-4:45 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:45-11:30 AM and/or 1:30-4:45 PM
  • Wednesday: 12:45-4:45 PM
  • Thursday: 7:45-11:30 AM and/or 1:30-4:45 PM
  • Friday: 12:45-4:45 PM
Preferred Qualifications
Majoring in either Information Systems Management or Computer Science
Pay Rate $14.50/hour
Work Hours 20
