This position coordinates the HR Student Job Location Program (JLP), offering a great work experience that has a meaningful impact for students trying to find Off-Campus jobs. The HR Job Location Coordinator works with outside employers to develop student Off-Campus job opportunities; edits and lists jobs; records student hires; and prepares and monitors JLP annual audit reports and results. Start now with the opportunity to continue working semester to semester while you are in school!

Job Duties:

  • General office duties which include copying, scanning, making labels, filing, and data entry
  • Maintains employment supplies and brochures
  • Calls prospective employers about student job opportunities
  • Posts jobs to external sites
  • Digital creation of flyers
  • Contacts departments regarding job listings or applicant problems
  • Provides support to the Talent Acquisition Division of Human Resources, Norman Campus. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a full-time student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • Must attach Spring, summer, and/or Fall 2024 class schedule

Skills:
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to pay attention to detail 
  • Customer service skills, including multi-line phone, general office and reception skills  

Advertised Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to engage in repetitive motions and communicate, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others.
  • Speak clear, concise English. 

Department Preferences:
  • Schedule that allows working in approximately 3 or more hour blocks
  • Undergraduate or graduate student who desires to continue working more than one semester  
  • Student who has been awarded and accepted work study aid from OU Financial Aid Services 
  • 6-12 months of office clerical or customer service job experience
