Housing Office Student Assistants:
This position’s hours are typically Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm. Schedule is approximately 35 hours/week. These student staff members work in the Housing Office and are responsible for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering student questions about housing and related services, giving tours, and addressing customer concerns, answering and routing phone calls, operating standard office equipment, maintaining filing systems and records, maintaining work calendars, and other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. 


  • Must attach Spring, Summer or Fall 2024 ONE class schedule.  
  • Must have completed one academic year of college courses to be eligible to apply. 

Skills:


  • Must have basic math skills and ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent and repetitive arm and wrist movement.  Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 25 lbs, depending on job assignment. Work at a desk in an office environment and use a computer and telephone.

  • Valid drivers license
