Job Summary

CAS-IT serves the faculty and units within the College of Arts & Sciences. Students that intern/work in CAS-IT are offered flexible hours, a relaxed and fun environment, mentorship from full-time and experienced staff, and encouraged to work on building their personal skills alongside their assigned tasks. The typical student will have the opportunity to be a part of the full lifecycle, from planning with customers to continual service improvement of real production projects.


Additional Information

Duties:
*Work with other developers, designers, technical writers, college deans, department directors, faculty, and staff on department projects.
*Design, build, and maintain web sites and pages.
*Assist developers with 3rd party applications and custom application maintenance, support, and features enhancement.
*Create and maintain documentation.
*Occasional graphic design and photo editing.


Pay Rate

Starting at $14.00 per hour

*Strong desire to learn new skills.
*Knowledgeable of common internet technologies and applications.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Strong computer skills.
*Ability to multi-task.
*Ability to work independently and part of a team.
*Attention to detail.
*Previous coursework or other experience with HTML5 and CSS3.

Preferred Qualifications

*Previous coursework or other experience with Java, JavaScript, or jQuery are not required but greatly beneficial.


Work Hours

As your class schedule allows, M-F between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM
