Position Summary:


Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Student Financial Aid Counselor for the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) Financial Aid Office.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Provides administrative services for the processing of financial aid and counseling services of all students enrolled in academic programs at RBHS.
  • Formulates financial aid award packages using established federal, state and/or university policies.
  • Determines and approves financial aid eligibility using latest online technology and its responsible for complete accounts of financial aid records.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One (I) year of professional experience in student financial aid.
  • Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.

City: Newark

State: NJ

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing.
  • No special vision requirements.
  • Must be able to lift 10 to 15 pounds.
  • Office environment.
  • Moderate Noise.
