Summary of Duties:

The Student Engagement Marketing Coordinator assists with the development and implementation of strategies that increase student understanding and awareness of the Carson College Career Amplifier Program requirements. The Coordinator is also focused on increasing participation in the student success and career development opportunities within the Amplifier Program; and has responsibility for communication campaigns and event coordination. 


Required Qualifications:


  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness or experience working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Demonstrated strength in writing and editing written communications.

  • Strong verbal communication skills.  Including the ability to design and deliver engaging presentations to large audiences.

  • Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel. 



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing/promotion through different mediums (including social media, print, and video).

  • Event coordination experience.

  • Experience working in higher education.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, PR, or related field.

  • Experience using graphic design, survey programs, and/or project management programs.
