Job Description

This student worker position will design posters, flyers, pamphlets, and other physical and digital media for SoVA recruitment initiatives, public relations, print and web media, and social media presence. The SoVA designer will work with the Director’s Office to design materials related to the school’s exhibitions, guest speaker events, and publicity needs. The position requires the student has access to appropriate design software. Students will need to be able to meet deadlines in a timely fashion.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in Spring Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma as a sophomore or higher in standing. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

  • Must attach Spring 2024 class schedule
  • Must have completed 30 credit hours and submitted the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Must be currently enrolled in 12 hours for the Spring 2024 Term 

 Skills:

  • Experienced graphic designer
  • Experience with relevant design software

Department Preference:

  • Experience in Visual Communication classes
  • Experience with digital photography
