The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences is seeking Student Assistants to provide support for the Dean's Office.
Job Duties: Answering telephones, making copies, typing/data entry, preparing correspondence, campus deliveries, general office support, assist with setting up for special events and other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, between hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
- Average of 10-15 hours a week
- Scheduled around your class schedule

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
Must attach Spring, Summer, and/or Fall 2024 ONE class schedule.
Skills:
Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
Basic computer skills
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to maintain academic progress while managing a flexible work schedule
Excellent customer service skills
High attention to detail
Highly motivated, organized, timely, welcoming, and familiar with the OU campus and resources
Flexible to adapt in various situations and be able to quickly think on their feet
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Standard office environment.

Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 25 lbs, depending on job assignment. Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, as necessary, and depending on job assignment, occasionally to frequently. This will be determined by employee's assignment.
Department Preferences:
- Must be comfortable working with the public
- Prefer 6 or more months of clerical experience in an office environment
