The Office of Technology Systems in the College of Business is searching for a Student Developer Assistant to provide support for development and maintenance of apps and/or websites including BizPass, BizPass admin, COB website APIs, Salesforce and Radius API management, and website maintenance updates.

Duties to include:

  • Maintain college's development portals on Azure devops, Appcenter and GitHub.
  • Assist in maintaining the COB APIs for the Business website, myBusiness portal, College of Business website backend, as well as pages using Salesforce and other Input forms.
  • Provide additional programming assistance in maintaining other college systems such as college journal list and accreditation systems.

  • Enrolled on a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally, and in writing.
  • Possess a high sense of responsibility and customer service skills.


 

Student Assistant.

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters. 
  • During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.
  • Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.
  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

$15.00/hour
