Student - Data Analysis and Business Intelligence

 Utah Valley University is seeking a student to perform data analysis and prepares reports, under the direction of the Department Assessment Committee Chair and the Department Chair.

• Gathering, compiling, cleaning and/or entering data
• Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data
• Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups and other data collection efforts
• Analyzing data files
• Assisting in producing data files
• Producing summaries of data from data sets
• Assists with department’s social media posts and digital signs

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Must be a current UVU student

Knowledge of:

• Reporting and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau 
• Statistical data collection, analysis, tracking, and reporting systems, methods, and techniques
• Databases

• The use of personal computers and related software applications
• Collecting, analyzing, verifying, and manipulating research data.  
•  Detail-oriented 

• Learn new software tools
• Program and/or learn programming languages such as SQL 
• Problem-solve
• Work independently
