Job Description

Serves as initial contact for HSC Student Union information desk and HSC Student Affairs administrative office. Assists with set-up and tear down of events, and helps maintain facility.
 
Duties:
  • Provide a welcoming, inviting atmosphere while performing front desk assistance
  • Greet guests of the HSC Student Affairs office, answer multi-line phone, assist with questions, data entry, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality when assisting clients for Student Counseling Services.
  • Assist with a variety of tasks in the HSC Student Union and HSC Student Affairs office, including monitoring the building and helping set up and tear down for functions and events.
  • Support HSC Student Affairs student programming events.
 

Job Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
  • Must attach Summer/Fall class schedule

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work with diverse groups

  • Organized and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds

  • Bending and stooping

  • Sitting for long periods of time

  • Walking and occasionally climbing stairs

Preferences:

  • Availability to work morning or evening shifts

  • 6-12 months of customer service experience
