Job Description

To assist patients with treatment in the Physical Therapy department under the supervision of the physical therapists and the physical therapy tech.

  • Check patients in/out.  Schedule appointments.
  • General maintenance - clean beds, wipe down equipment, laundry.
  • Assist with modalities (hot/cold packs, ultrasound, ESTIM).

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the Spring Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.


  • Must attach Spring 2024 class schedule.

Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to understand and comply with instructions.   

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • May lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to bend, stoop, reach, pull and push.

  • General understanding of anatomy helpful.
