Job Title Student Assistant (ND Student-Summer)
Job Description
This position will serve two primary functions:
Desk
Provide customer service at the circulation desk. Retrieve and circulate library materials. Perform receptionist type duties such as answering the telephone, directing people, answering basic questions, may be required to open or close the library desk, monitor equipment such as scanners and printers, and assist with document delivery. Do additional duties as assigned.
Stacks Management
Responsibilities for stacks management include shelf reading, reshelving books, shifting sections of materials, relabeling books, and adjusting shelving racks. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs, have good verbal communication skills, and utilize a step stool. Additional duties as assigned.
Must be a Notre Dame undergrad student.
