Department Summary
The Office of Academic Affairs supports the academic mission of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our team is responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of the Osteopathic medical degree program. We work closely with faculty, staff, and students to develop an ever-improving learning environment through faculty development, curricular innovation, and assessment.
Position Summary
  • Serve as assistants/table trainers during all Year 1 practice training periods.
  • View Rise module with videos prior to the lab in which they will be practiced.
  • Serve as the AV team when assigned during TA training session and/or lab (cameras, microphone, lights)
  • Assist Faculty/Residents with section duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled UNTHSC student.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Year 1 TCOM student
  • Good academic standing
  • FOMM or TCOM score of at least 75o Professionalism Technical Skill
  • Teaching ability

Tuesday afternoons
12:30 – 5:00 PM
August – March (Note: Orientation is May 14, 2024)
