THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN HAMILTON COUNTY and Hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.

Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees.  Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment.  Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role.  Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.  

The interns will support Hamilton County 4-H educational programming and community. The intern will work directly with the 4-H Educator who lead efforts to address community based issues. The interns will support 4-H Youth Development and the 4H Educator while assisting with educational programming for youth. The interns will assist with the development of educational materials, conduct community based programs and participate in professional and public meetings.

The intern will have a varying work schedule with a considerable amount of fluctuation based on community and program needs.

Intern will be expected to be proficient with basic Microsoft Office Suite, experience with cloud-based database preferred.

Dependable transportation may be required for travel to program sites.
