Job Duties:
- Assist with all facets of athletic equipment and uniforms assigned varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
- Ensures that all equipment and uniform needs are met for assigned sports' practices and competitions.
- Adheres to policies and procedures regarding distribution of equipment for assigned intercollegiate sports.
- Adheres to OSHA requirements, and NCAA regulations with regards to equipment safety.
- Assist with all laundry room operations. Stores necessary laundry and supplies for use by Athletic Department staff.
- Assist with facility event set-up for all varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Applicants will be assigned to any of the 21 varsity sports within the OU Athletics Department. Assignment is determined by head coaches and full-time Equipment staff members.

Job Requirements
---
Required Education: Must be enrolled in the Spring term as a student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Spring 2024 class schedule.
Skills:
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet.
Knowledge of intercollegiate athletic programs, and specifically equipment room operations.
Applicants must be team oriented, accountable and able to work independently.
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long period of time
- Must be able to bend, reach, climb, and touch
- Must be willing to participate in activities related to practice including but not limited to shagging balls, collecting uniforms, setting up necessary sports equipment
Department Preferences:
- Experience as an equipment manager, youth sports coach/referee, or student-athlete.
