Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Chair, CAO, and GME Program Directors, and working collaboratively with and taking some direction from the Resident Program Administrator, in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily administrative activities of departmental GME programs as outlined in the ACGME Institutional, Common Program, and Specialty Program Guidelines for Graduate Medical Education and the governing boards. You will liaise with the GME Program Directors, residents, fellows, program faculty, the GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites. As the Student Affairs Officer, you will be innovative and will take initiative to improve and standardize administrative processes across GME programs wherever possible. You will also assist in planning and event coordination, as well as perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, preparing agendas, ordering office supplies, and processing reimbursements.
