Job Summary
The individual will provide academic support to the new Computer Engineering Technology program. Responsibilities include:
  • developing and implementing programs and events focused on increasing student enrollment
  • meeting with potential transfer students to answer specific questions regarding the curriculum and their transfer courses
  • meeting with WKCTC advisors on student transfer opportunities and how to seamlessly transition new UK students

Responsibilities also include:
  • advising students through individual consultation by providing information on course selection and registration
  • interpreting and explaining university and college policies and degree requirements
  • assisting students in identifying skill interest and career options
  • developing and implementing initiatives related to student success and retention in Computer Engineering Technology

The individual will also provide academic services to all programs at the UK Paducah campus. Responsibilities include:
  • working with admissions offices at UK and West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC)
  • maintaining files on all enrolled undergraduate students
  • working with Student Accounts Offices at UK and WKCTC on matters related to tuition
  • liaising with Lexington for exchange of transcripts between UK and WKCTC

The individual will assist the Program Director with special projects or events as needed.
