Qualifications

Required Skills, knowledge, and abilities:

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, trainees, faculty, and various levels of leadership.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms.

Skill in writing and editing correspondence with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation and with speed and accuracy.

Ability to make oral group presentations; ability to explain policies and procedure to medical students, residents, fellows and faculty

Ability to work independently and demonstrate follow-through on assignments.

Ability to analyze data and to display data using tables, charts, and graphs.

Computer skills; including use of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to maintain organized records with both paper and electronic files.

Skill in coordinating meetings and events by determining location, time, arranging catering, etc. 

Preferred Skills, knowledge, and abilities:

Ability to manage and monitor online applications system such as MedHub, WebADS, ERAS, PDWS, and NRMP.

Knowledge of university policies and procedures.

Working knowledge of University systems such as BruinBuy and Travel Express.

Ability to work occasional weekend days and evenings.

Previous experience in an ACGME-accredited program.

Bachelor’s degree.
