Description

Join the department of Radiological Sciences as a quality control assistant! In concert with the Clinical Modality Director(s) and / or Radiology Physicist(s), the position will collect and enter modality specific information into a database for review by departmental committees. Maintain logs of radiographic image quality submissions and aids in the creation of data summaries as a part of quality improvement, education and accreditation programs.This position is intended for a student enrolling in a Radiologic Tech undergraduate program. Salary:$16.25 – $45.00 hourly

Qualifications

Required: * Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. * Ability to appropriately confront and resolve issue. * Ability to tolerate highly ambiguous environment and meet multiple demands. * Didactic knowledge in modality imaging techniques including an in-depth knowledge of radiological physics, hardware/software and quality control procedures. * Demonstrates written and oral communication skills. * Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing Medical Center activities, including University policies and procedures. * Knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Radiology Information Systems and Hospital Information Systems.
