  • You will work collaboratively in a team environment, including the Strategic Planning function
  • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    The UW Medicine Clinical Strategy Department is building the Service Delivery Planning Function

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   Provide technical support to Strategy Analytics Internal Consultants with building and maintaining Service Delivery Planning projection models for Inpatient Beds, Operating Rooms and others as determined.
  •   Develop improved methods and user tools for reporting and analysis with a focus on automating routine reporting
  •   Participate in standardization projects and implement agreed-upon processes across the enterprise
  •   Partner with Decision Support and other key analytical departments to aggregate data, validate information, and align methodology
  •   Use data sources and tools including Sg2 Analytics Platform, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau.
  •   Interact with vendor partner Sg2, develop tutorials to educate UW Medicine, and respond to data requests
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  •   BA or BS Degree
  •   2 to 3 years progressive experience in an analytical capacity
  •   Demonstrated ability to research and use appropriate algebraic, statistical, and/or complex reasoning required for analytic work
  •   Advanced Excel modeling skills, preferably experienced in data visualization leveraging tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  •   Work occasionally requires flexibility to travel between UW Medicine entities within the Seattle/King County area
  •   An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
