Essential Duties

  • Works closely and collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to assist with execution of contracts and strategic initiatives. 
  • Prepares and maintains status reports and schedules; tracks milestones/deliverables, critical paths and dependencies: re-sets expectations as needed in consideration of project progress/outcomes.
  • Collaborates with team members, both internal and contracted, to ensure optimal outcomes; builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to partnership success.
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required infrastructure needs to ensure successful launches and ongoing project operations.
  • Prepares strategic initiative reports for management review.
  • Assists in organizing business review meetings with strategic partners with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Consults with staff, students and others to provide technical advice, problem-solving assistance, answers to questions about program and partnership goals.
  • Prepares and monitors specific materials unique to the program, project, initiative, or area of a department.
  • Coordinates resources to meet the needs of each initiative, program, or project.
  • Coordinates and/or monitors the effectiveness of related methods and work activities.
  • Analyzes research data and other literature and makes interpretations for application to related program, project, initiative, or area of a department/college.
  • May assist in developing budgets, performance indicators, and accountability reports for new programs and/or budget units.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years of successful business in a related capacity experience; OR, Seven (7) years of successful business experience in a related capacity;OR,Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

  • Knowledge of project management principles, change management practices, and techniques needed for large, complex projects.
  • Experience in designing presentations.
  • Skill in project assessment and implementation.
  • Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diversified population.
  • Ability to stimulate changes in individual, institutional, and corporate behaviors to create a more sustainable environment.
  • Ability to lead by example in communicating, participating and encouraging support of the institutions sustainability programs.

Working Environment

  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse
  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
  • Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
  • Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions
