Job Summary
UK Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is seeking a detail-oriented
 individual with excellent management skills for the position of
 Phonathon Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Director of
 Annual Giving, the Phonathon Coordinator is responsible for
 managing all aspects of the phonathon, including:
• The recruitment, hiring, training, and monitoring of all call
 center employees, including up to four shift supervisors. All
 call center employees are students at the University of Kentucky.
• Plan calling strategies to meet goals as well as develop
 scripts and other fundraising materials, change strategy from
 day-to-day as needed and provide marketing orientation for
 employee callers prior to each shift.
 • Administer the phonathon software, serve as contact person
 with the software service provider, and work with Annual Giving
 and UK Philanthropy staff to extract and manipulate data from the
 database.
 • Maintain time sheets and all HR related functions for 30+
 student employees as well as work with the Associate Director to
 manage and maximize the payroll component of the phonathon
 budget. 
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Customer service,
 strategic thinking, experience managing
 students/volunteers/staff, experience in
 philanthropy/fundraising, proficiency utilizing MS Excel
